東涌三項鐵人會

東涌三項鐵人會(大鐵人)成立於2007年並根據社團條例註冊成為合法社團,並於2008年起成為香港三項鐵人總會及香港單車聯會註冊屬會。

東涌三項鐵人會以大嶼山為訓練基地,一直致力推廣體育及康樂活動特別是對游泳、單車、跑步及三項鐵人的運動員培訓及賽事籌劃。

本會除了鼓勵有潛質的青少年代表本區參加比賽外更會挑選一些熱心的青少年培訓他們成為運動領袖服務本區,並會協助及鼓勵這群 青少年考取不同體育總會認可的教 練證書及資格不斷進修,自我增值,投身運動行業,成為專業的游泳、單車、跑步或三項鐵人教練, 提供職業培訓和就業等支援。

未來本會將致力積極參與慈善及義務事項, 希望能回饋社會之餘, 也可為有需要人士提供機會參與三項鐵人運動。

Tung Chung Triathlon Association

Established in 2007, Tung Chung Triathlon Association (Big Ironman) is a legal organization, which registered according to the Societies Ordinance. We have also enrolled as one of the affiliated club of the HK Triathlon Association and HK Cycling Association in 2008 and 2009.

Tung Chung Triathlon Association is based in the Lantau Island, promoting sports and recreational activities, including Swimming, Cycling, and Running. We also focus on fostering younger triathletes and organizing races.

Apart from encouraging potential young generation to join competition on behalf of our community, it is our mission to train enthusiastic teenagers as sport leaders to serve our community; as well as assisting young generation to access recognized coaching certificate and qualification.

In the future, we are planning to participate more in relation to charity work. This would allow us to contribute to the community and also provide more opportunities to those who are interested in Triathlon.
